I was wondering if anyone has this board(ver. 1.1) and a slotket and has tried a Intel Celeron Coppermine 1.1GHz 1100Mhz 128K Socket 370 FCPGA?
Here is some other info that I found about this processor:

Intel Celeron II FC-PGA Coppermine based (370-pin) Microprocessor. Dynamic Execution technology, includes Intel MMX media enhancement technology, 32 Kbyte (16 Kbyte/16 Kbyte) Level 1 cache, 128 Kbyte integrated Level 2 cache. A new generation of processors based on Intel's 0.18 micron process technology, 100 MHz Front Side Bus, Intel P6 micro-architecture.

Intel Chipset support: Intel 810 chipset, Intel 810E chipset, Intel 815 chipset, Intel 440BX, Intel 440EX and the Intel 440ZX-66 AGPset.

Any luck setting a rig up like this? It seems possible, but I wanted to know if anyone had any luck doing so and how they went about doing it if possible. I have seen other posts here, but no info on whether any1 has been succesful that I have found. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! How would I go about upgrading the BIOS first if this is a new mobo and processor?

You are buying a new BH6 or already have it? It is a decent slot 1 motherboard, but I wouldn't get one these days unless you are getting a real good deal on it. Anyway, if it is a 1.1, go HERE and get the SP bios and instructions you need. If its a 1.0x, go HERE and get the SS bios.

It was free, can't beat that. I am replacing my old Dell system based on the same type of board. It is Rev. 1.1 and never used. How do I flash the BIOS if the system is brand new and not installed yet? I would need to do this b4 I put in the new celeron and slotket? Thanks again!

Good deal on the free BH6! Lets see, the system has to be running before you can flash it. Chicken before the egg kind of thing. Do you have an old PII or Celeron kicking around?

Not really. I do have a 600mhz slot 1(katmai) that came with my Dell. I would hope that it wouldn't be propietory with the Dell itself. I can't imagine that processors could be. Would that work? I haven't even bought the Celeron 1.1gigz yet anyways. :)
