Ok I was stupid the other night and after i had gotten my new system, abit bf6, p3 700 @ 800, 128 pc100 RAM, up and running I decided to give SoftFSB a try just to see if it'd actually work.
Baaad idea. Stupid me forgot to totally give it time to adjust/fix the FSB and in my stupidity I restarted the computer only to see that, what I had done was restart the computer while SoftFSB was updating my bios..so of course it wouldn't post. I was at least somewhat smart and dischaged my cmos and rebooted, but upon rebooting my mobo wasn't detecting my cdrom and zip drives. But it booted up, so I went into win98se and checked to see if the cdroms still worked..they did. So now I'm wondering.
Is there anything I can/should do to get my bf6 to recogonize my cdrom drives, or should I not really worry about it since my system boots up and runs?
