I am a bit confused on the ata support on the promise controller on this mobo...will it support additional ATA connections...I need addn ata support for 3 HDD ..I like to keep the cdrom/cdrw on primary and secondary controllers
The one advantage the Asus has is Firewire option ..I have miniDV camcorder and it uses firewire
It is cheaper to get a firewire card than a good raid card
Do they both overclock well????
My goal on o/cing is to hit at 150 fsb so it is modest....

I would like to wait for GB put the cost seems a bit high...$190-200 vs a $130 -150
