Abit BE6-II vs. Abit BE6-II v2.0

I currently have an Abit BE6-II, and I have seen the Abit BE6-II v2.0. Does this make my BE6-II obsolete? According to the product specs, the v2.0 supports up to 1Ghz P3, but the original does not.

Will my Abit BE6-II support a 833~1Ghz @ 133FSB P3?

What version is your BE6II? The CPU support is the same. If you have the v1.2, then you can use the 2.0 BIOS to get RAID support. The only difference with 1.2 and 2.0 is that 1.2/2.0 both come with the HighPoint 370 UltraDMA100-RAID controller and can do RAID and UltraDMA100 while yours can only do HighPoint 366 UltraDMA66.
