Im having trouble booting into windows with this board under windows XP. After numerous fresh install of XP, I've narrowed down the problem to the highpoint controller.
When I disable it under bios, it boots up fine to windows, but as soon as I enable it on bios, it freezes while booting into windows.
I've tried many configurations including strippping the system to only video card and hard drive.
The hard drive and the cd-rom is under Intel IDE1 and IDE2 at the moment but as soon as i get this HPT370 going, I'm plannign to move the hard drive down to IDE3.
The highpoint controller bios is the latest 0.95b, and mobo is ZX from abit website. They're both upto date.
This is driving me nuts since I got it to work under windows before on this mobo.
Any help would be appreciated.
