Abit BE6-II Rev 1.2 ATA66 -> ATA100?

I read in different places that you can update something to make the HPT370 controller into an ATA100 controller...some places say that you flash your BIOS and others say that you update the drivers...I updated the drivers for the HPT370 controller and in Windows, it says that it's ATA100...but I don't know if there is a difference...

Was that it? Just the updated device drivers? Or is there a hidden files that I can flash my bios with?
 
Really?! Alright! That's weird though cuz like...the Abi BE6-II rev 1.2 only advertises itself as ATA66...oh wells, I'm glad I got ATA100 then =)
