Abit BE6 HTP366 issues???

😱:disgust: Having problems with this board not booting with Win2000 installed; been lookin on google for supposedly required bios for motherboard V1.25 and driver or bios for the HTP366 controller V1.25. Anybody know how to resolve this problem or find these drivers. Thanks
 
When installing 2000/XP with it, press F6 when needed to install the external third party driver of the HPT366controller from the disk that came with the mobo. Installation will continue normally then...
 
have you had the hipoint controller working at all on this MB if so your lucky.
think most of the people that have had this board never got those 2 chanels working right. i just gave up and used an add in card.

ON NT based OS's you have to install the controller while installing the OS.
On 9x based OS's you have the option of installing the controller after windows has installed.
