I have access to an abit be6 rev1 for 45 bucks. I have heard mixed reviews about this board, esp. 133fsb stabilty problems.

Any comments?

JCFlex,

I have had this board for almost two years now and have had nothing but problems with it. However, I think I have finally solved the problem (it hasn't hung in over a month). I think my problem had to do with the UDMA66 controller and its poor drivers. I moved my UDMA66 drive off of the UDMA66 channel and onto the regular IDE channel and it has been stable ever since.

I have never OC'd with this board. I can't say that I would buy it again. I would like to run it hang free for a little longer to convince me it is worth it :)

Honestly, if you are planning on running a HD on the regular IDE channel, then you may want to go for it.

Yeah pretty much teh same story with Garet Jax here. No matter which UDMA drivers I tried, and no matter what BIOS I used, the board wasn't very stable. And I tried a P3-600B (133FSB, Katmai core) in it, and I had incredible stability problems. Don't get this board. Better to spend the extra $20 or so to get a P3V4X (Look in the FS/FT forums... you'll find one).
