So, after reading reviews and comparing featuresets for a few weeks, I finally settled on the Abit AW8-Max 3rd-Eye II motherboard, for LGA775 processors.

I've been extraordinairly impressed with it's featureset and OC'ing abilities so far, so I'm a little surprised I haven't seen any posts about the AW8-Max series???

I am just one of the first to try this board or are there downsides I didn't find out about beforehand??? ;)

Comments, suggestions, derogatory remarks welcome.. lol

That's becuase 99% of us here use AMD's. LGA775 isn't really worth looking at now that the 3800+ X2 is out.

Edit: Except for maybe superbudget dualcore.

Yes.

:). You know you won't leave us....we're like the best hardware community ever. But on a serious note, it's not that we hate Intel users, it's just that most members here prefer using AMD becuase currently it's the best bang for the buck on the market, so you might not find much help from AMD users.

Not to revive a dead topic, but while I was checking out the system rigs section of my anandtech.. I did stumble across this.

CPU Totals:
AMD: 14908
Intel: 10604

Granted, thats only for those who have filled out the system rig information... :)
