ABit AV8 or MSI Neo 2 Plat

Hey guys, Im having hard time to decide which mother I should get for my next AMD 64 939 3000. I will be using it mainly to OC. I know MSI has better max FSB, but I read some negetive stuffs about how MSI cheats. Oh I also have x800pro, im not sure if it still have some compatibility issues, with ATI and Nvidia since it cause some probs on my Abit NF7s Motherboard. But again I do want to OC a 3000 to highest clock speed possible. So guys which one should I get? (oh by the way av8 is 20 dollar cheaper

how about memory? I currently have 2 x 512 of PDP 2-3-2-5 memory. How far could I go with those?
