just as the topic states, for some reason 3d apps like far cry will crash with a vpu recover message popping up at 260fsb and over. prime95 is however stable at fsb even above this up to around 270 so i am wondering what gives ? are there any tricks of the trade with this board that will allow it to go higher?

still no help from either thread.... yes, it is satisfying to get about 2.3ghz off of the 1.8 ghz 3000+ at stock voltages all the way around, and stability is nice feature of abit (as always). but since we always want more I know someone has found a way to break through on the abit problem.

Yep. It probably is. It was on mine @ about 270, so @ 260 or so could be the same problem. Try using the fixed @ 74 AGP/PCI lock or the 8:2:1 ratio and see if that helps-it help me majorly-like all the way to 300.
