Maybe because 98 HAS to install legacy devices on setup, and if there are none detected..................

Good riddance to the Win9x family! They need to put NT 5/5.1 ONLY on the box. Windows Me is utterly worthless. (providing you actually want to do WORK with your computer! :Q )

I use WinME as a test OS to try out new software and drivers before I install their Win2K counterparts on my "production" OS. I was also an official beta tester for WinME (and MS has kept me on with the WindowsUpdate beta), so I've never had any real problems with WinME ... naturally. ;P Well, there was that one nasty bug with ATi and multiple video cards.
