Abit at7 motherboard

I own an abit at7 max. in my experience with it (i've been using it for over a year) it is a rock-solid motherboard. honestly, I love it.

however, i've run into a problem: eventually, something will happen (something always) happens) and I'll have to replace it with something newer and glitzier... but I can't find another board with the same features anywhere on the market.

I'm not too worried about the 6 USB ports onboard, or the 2 firewire ports... not even the 4 DDR DIMM slots. the selling point for this board (at least, to ME) was the four highpoint raid controllers on board -- next to the two IDE controllers -- which gave it a beefy max of 12 drives onboard.

the only other consumer board i've found was released at the same time and is similarly discontinued: the IG7, but it's
A) an intel board
and
B) only has three RAM slots

I would actually settle for an intel board (against my principles, but you make the sacrifices that you have to) if it meant having support for 12 drives.

so the question is:
does anyone know where to find older (discontinued) hardware? E-bay has one every once in awhile, but i'd really like to get my hands on one as soon as possible.
failing that, does anyone know of a similar board that's on the market today that supports 12 drives out of the box?

thanks in advance.
