ABIT AT-7 and WindowsXP

Here my computer config : Mobo ABIT AT-7 ( latest bios version ), Athlon XP 1700+, 256MB Kingston ValueRam DDR333, Winfast GeForce4 Ti 4200, Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM, SBLive! DE 5.1, RealMagic Hollywood Plus MPEG Card. I'm using VIA driver ( ver. 4.38 or 4.40 ), DirectX 8.1b, NVDIA driver ( ver. 28.32 or 29.42 or 30.30 ) or Winfast driver and WindowsXP operating system. But after I install VGA driver and re-start a computer, windows always hang. But if I use WindowsME is nothing happen. I already read a Anandtech review and comparasion Mobo, they using same operating system but it's nothing going wrong. Is there any in-compatibility on my hardware? So, anyone can help me please.
