abit and am3 support

Thanks, unfortunately the list was done in 7/2008 before the AM3's came out.

I guess my question really is - will the old abit am2+ boards accept am3 without any bios update.
 
If there is no recent BIOS update, I wouldn't bet on it working with AM3 CPUs. Almost all AM2+ boards can work with AM3 CPUs, but they need microcode updates for the new CPUs.
