I just installed this board with a AMD 64 3200+ Vince core on monday. I haven't updated the BIOS yet and i'm just wondering which BIOS is the best?

Uguru software. Any advantage to having this installed? I installed it but I haven't been using it because it seems that each time windows starts I have to click on turbo in the OCguru to set the fan speed on the CPU to 3000 rpms. Also it seems like a bit of a system hog.

I also have a problem with RAM. I wanted to run Dual Channel RAM so I orderd a stick of Crucial 512mb PC3200 ram with this board to go along with a stick of the same RAM I ordered a few months ago. For some reason they sent me this RAM but its not the same stuff as they sent me before and it won't run DC. Its smaller in physical size, the part # is different but its 512mb PC3200. In CPU-Z under the manufacturer it reads 0000000000000000 and under the Serial # section it reads FFFFFFFFF. The other stick that I ordered before comes up with Micron Tech as the manufacturer and it gives a serial number. I didn't orginaly install the "odd" stick of Crucial because I was going to RMA it back to Newegg. I had a stick of Generic 512mb PC2700 but I found with that installed my system kept locking up. So now i'm going to RMA the "odd" stick of RAM back to Newegg and I want to run the Generic stick until I get a new stick from Newegg. Is there any settings I can adjust so that the Generic stick will run without locking up my system? Can I change the timings or volts? If anyone can help me please let me know. It seems that either the board doesn't like Generic RAM or different speeds with 2 sticks. Thanks.
