Abit AN8 32X

tbh no unless you were running 2 7950GX2s on a huge screen at high res & fsaa etc.

AN8 32X is a nice board though but unless you have a problem with your KN8 then there is no real need to change.

I have two Evga 7900 KO Superclocks, and I plan on running a 23"-26" LCD at 1920X1200

And personally my understanding was that no matter what cards or resolution you where running at the 32X PCI-E offered better performance.

P.S. Look at my "GameRig" specs 😉

well, possibly you may benefit slightly but it won't be massive.
It's definitely not true that you will see an improvement no matter which cards or resolution.

I run an AN8 32X, x2 3800+@2.6GHz, 7800GT SLI usually at 1600x1200.

So you don't think it's a noticeable advantage? If not I might as well just use my KN8-SLI heck the mobo only has about 40 hours on it, and I bought it Dec. 2005, LOL I've been waiting all this time to get a LCD worthy of the box, man LCDs are a PAIN.

Honestly, I would just stick with the KN8 SLI unless there is something about the AN8 32X that you must have.
You might as well try it first seeing as you have it already.

Of course I've used the KN8 SLI, I just thought there was suppose to be better performance for 32x PCI-E is all, but I guess the cards have not come up to specs yet to really take advantage of this, or make much of a difference at this point.
