ABIT AI7 and Thermalright SLK900U..

I just bought this board to replace another motherboard, and I was sadly stunned by the diagonal socket on the board. All I have in my possesion is a Thermalright SLK900U, and nothing else.

Anyone use this combination at all? LMK please. I already emailed thermalright to no avail. 🙁
 
It should be fine. If it uses the stock Intel retention mechanism (and it does) it'll work, the CPU socket is just a bit rotated.
 
Well, it didn't use the stock system, but it seems to be working ok, on an OC 2.4A Prescott @ 3.2GHz, about 54C. Thanks for your reply though.
 
What I meant was that it'll work with any P4 heatsink, the socket is just rotated, that's all.
