Thanks

Mark

Let us know what voltages and stability tests you've tried. That will help people here point you in the right direction.

I start having trouble with my KHX3200 memory around 220 (1:1) - try using a 5:4 ratio and see if you get stable at 225+.

I know this is a way old post but I am redoing my ic7 max 3 and I upgraded to a 3.2 prescott cpu but the ram is limiting me to 2800 at 14 X 200. Running 4 512 Corsair XMS sticks and haven't had any clue how to bump up up the fsb and play with the settings. I am installing xp again and trying to breathe some life back into this mobo. I have adequate cooling and aftermarket thermal righ sp heatsink. Also my fan died on the otes system and was wondering how to replace that. Thanks any info greatly appreciated

Jason

3.6GHz is a relatively strong overclock for northwood
likely you're approaching the limit of the cpu and/or you need a faster fan

those small copper heatsinks with 80mm fans loved high rpm helicopter sounding fans
