I'm streaming from ABC's site and it keeps cutting out so I'm only hearing it sporadically, but what I see so far:

The moderators don't like O'Malley at all

Sanders thinks milking the billionaires will solve all of our problems

Clinton is Clinton..

I find it weird that they have it on when viewing is likely to be very low. We're watching college basketball games. :)

Surely Fox will pick it apart later. lol

I left for a bit but just tuned back in, Bernie's response to the question on how to pay for his healthcare plan was a non-answer. To her credit the moderator did keep grilling him on it but his only response was "It won't go to private companies and that's what's important".

His answer for how to pay for his free college plan was essentially go after Wall Street. He has grandiose ideas but is quite evident he has no way to actually pay for them.

I'm no fan of Clinton but she did call him out on it, saying that we have to think long and hard about how to realistically pay for these things we promise.

Hahahaha, we limit access to opiates, heroin rates soar, and Bernie wants to limit the doctors even further. You've got a great bunch of "liberals", Democrats.

Agreed, he was correct on saying the addiction is a disease and the war on drugs is a failure but then all three stated the answer is simply to fight it more. Makes no sense, in the same sentence said it doesn't work so let's do more of it.

I haven't been able to watch most of it but I did see a little bit on foreign policy. Bernie really needs to get over his vote on Iraq. It's great that he was able to see what a quagmire Iraq was going to be but he needs to focus on how he will fix it. The Fix from both Clinton and sanders seemed to be about the same with sanders taking a priority of dealing with ISIS and then taking assad whereas Clinton thinks we can handle both.

I don't know who is right.

Somebody listening close to me commented that her brain wasn't dripping out of her ear. I went Huh? She said that's what happened when listening to the GOP clown car episode last week.

I don't know how omaley can say he will be a uniter after putting down Republicans just seconds ago.

Hillary seems like she's ready and willing to fight repubs.

Bernie was himself.

Nah, this one was pretty sad too. Tunisia is a better place than Libya was under Gaddafi, overthrowing Allende was as damaging as overthrowing Muslim dictator X, college is unaffordable, Baltimore is a symbol of non-violence and racial peace, etc. I wonder how many of these things will be pointed out on the usual fact checking websites.

Sanders thinks milking the billionaires will solve all of our problems

Millionaires are made from cheap overseas labor leading to the middle class becoming the working poor.

And the Republicans openly say our wages are too high and don't want a minimum wage increase.

ISIS may affect us 4 times in the next 4 years even with the best screening of individuals and lone wolves. How often does our low wages affect us with our ability to pay rent, heat, electricity and food?

I wish someone would at least prioritize Americans over billionaire donors or Islamic militants.

Seriously! Hell after 7 years Congress finally dealt with our aging infrastructure.

The democrats need to put better politicians into the field.

They have them, they just aren't upper ranking enough. We definitely have an old as dirt politician problem just like we have an old as dirt actors/news anchors problem. I feel like Hollywood is doing a better job finding the next generation of talent and in politics they are scraping the bottom of the Boomer generation talent pool.

Bernie and Clinton should be retiring not running for president. O'Malley was not a good Governor IMO. And thats the entire democratic pool. Wow. Unimpressed. Not that the republicans are any better.

I think part of the problem with the universal healthcare stuff deals with people want to stick with the idea that costs won't change. He keeps getting asked how to pay for it using existing costs.

The government has to negotiate the price. Its all about price bargaining. If you come into the ER with no insurance you have no bargaining power and you are screwed. Its terrifying.

Medicare gets better prices because of the bargaining. Private insurance does reimburse higher and makes up for that. What they need is better price bargaining practices overall.

The government does need to better negotiate drug prices, but remember, the republicans will have no part of that. We are still under the drug price negotiation ban put in effect under the Bush administration.

The Obama administration has tried, but has failed in opposition, to getting those negotiations.

The ACA was not allowed to move forward when it called for drug price negotiating. The republicans demanded that language be removed in order to advance that bill.

Haven't watched it myself yet, but sounds like something my wife would say.

Pretty amusing.

Drug prices are a pretty small part of overall healthcare costs though, somewhere on the order of 5-10%.
