I am putting to gether a new system here is what I have in it so far:

abit ic7-g
p4 2.8c
512 in single channel for now (trying to trouble shoot)
Saphire Atlantis 9700Pro
Lite ON CD/RW
WD1200JB

I get it to go through all the motions then I start the install of XP everything is going OK then shortly after getting to the first install screen that you have a mouse, I get a blue screen telling me that windows shut off to keep from damaging my system. It tells me to make sure everything is properly seated...I've done that and still nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Dude you can't use HTML whats your problem...Oh wait, sorry I wrote that all out in note pad to avoid the mess of copying and pasteing unwanted code....I gues I wasted my time. Try to read through it, as I am way to lazy to write all that crap out again.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
have you tryed just using one stick ? if not , try one by it's self . if that doesn't work try the other by it's self. looks like a memory problem. also you can try each stick , individually in each slot.
also set your bios to defaults , excessive memory timings could be the cause too.
just make one change at a time , then test it , then make another change if you have to.
good luck

I got a BSOD when loading XP, I just lowered my ram speed and it loaded, then I went back and reset it and all is good.
