Aarg, quick, give away newer 8x gforce4mx440 or old gforce 3?

I promised an old gforce2 ultra with dvi/vga to give away to a friends grandma. She currently has crt but will get flat screen by year end ( no idea if dvi or vga) Problem is I can't find it.

I have an old pny Gforce3 with dvi and vga I can give her or a newer gforce 4 mx440 8x vga. Question which is better for grandma who does photos, word and internet? The same guy will get the other card for his 6yr old son's 'spare parts' computer I'm selling him that he wants for games, so the faster one should go to the boy.

Ps he's leaving for grandma's friday - any advice would be appreciated.
 
A GF4 MX440 is actually the same speed or very slightly faster than a GF2 Ultra (thanks to the 2 way memory crossbar it has). Unless grandma is mad keen on 3D games and likes to run very high resolutions the 3D performance and lack of DVI isn't going to matter much IMHO.
 
Thanks guys, I'm going to give the 440 to grandma.

The DVI thing initially threw me. My thought was also that DVI didn't matter to her. I appreciate the input.
