Aardvark Q10 & Audigy2 Plat

Hi everyone,

My friend has both of these cards in his system. He's running XP home ed., right now he's having alot of problems w/ both cards. He tried reinstalling both, but the problems remain.

I checked on the web for the manf. of the Q10 for info , but their domain expired.

I checked a review of the card & it states it is only supported for 95, 98 & me.

Does anyone know if he can run both cards together in the same system ? If so
under which os ?? 98se or XP ?

He says he needs the midi input from the Audigy2 because the Q10 doesn't have that function.

yes the reason the aardvark website won't work is because they are now apparently out of business, a shame...
I think you should be able to use both sound cards in the same system, although i have never tried it. Maybe if it does not work, your friend could get a USB to MIDI adaptor www.midiman.com ? Also the q10 should work in windows XP as there are several people using that setup. If you need more info, go to www.homerecording.com/bbs/ and search under the computers forum. there are a lot of sound card "pros" in there that may be able to help.

I was suprised when I found out that the Q10 is a $700 sound card...
