Heres the situation: I had an auction up for OfficeXP Pro Retail and this guy emails me and asks if he could buy a copy. I said yeah because I had an extra laying around. He pays me by Paypal and he buys the Money Back Guarantee option. Anyways, hes complaining that he can't install SP1 and blames it on my bad software! It was in the shrink wrap! I look at my paypal account today and I see my money missing. It says that I have a chargeback from the guy I sold OfficeXP to. WTF!!! I was wondering if I could possibly get my money back if I have the tracking number.

thanks in advance!:)

Ah chargebacks. And people wonder why I dont take paypal anymore.

Depends on the grounds of the chargeback.

Hi boi,

Is the chargeback for non-delivery? Or is it for merchandise quality? Merchandise quality chargebacks are not covered under our Seller Protection Program, but we do have a dispute process in place if you did comply with SPP.

As an aside, there shouldn't be a negative balance on your end if the buyer went through the Money Back Guarantee Program (this is between the buyer and PayPal).

Please feel free to PM/email me with the info (damon@paypal.com). I would be more than happy to take a look at it.
