AAHH!!!! PVC Cement on my hand! Get it off!!

I was fixing a broken toy for my sister with PVC Cement and I made a bad move and spilled a ton on the kitchen counter and my hand. This stuff was so strong, it was melting/smearing colors off of the toy!

This stuff says "solution may be absorbed through skin".

I'm peeling the glue off my hand as I type but I want it ALL off. How do I get every drop off of the counter and my hand???


Please help me!!

try warm water and constant scrubing. both with your hands and counter

they sell pvc cement solvent...
go buy some, just don't get stuck to the door on the way out...
If you can't get out try paint thinner or acetone. One of those could work

Be careful with the solvents on the countertop. It could easily ruin the finish.

Eh, don't bother with trying to get it off your hand unless it's smeared everywhere. Your skin is constantly shedding, so the stuff will come off sooner or later

Putting your hand in a branch shredder will definitely take the glue off

The only side effect is that it will take your hand off as well.

Oh dude, that blows ass. I got a 1 inch smear on my hand and was smelling it the WHOLE day. You're gonna have to live with it for a little while...
