I'm refraining from going to the site just yet... can you tell me a little about the series first? Basic plot, characters, etc?

Naruto 66-67 is apparently out in RAW form, but will probably take a while to time\encode. They cannot release episodes everyday because they don't exist. Episodes air every week, not everyday.

Latest Released is Eps 65; 66-67 is the Sasuke\Gaara Fight, mostly drawn out over 45 minutes :| ... IMO, in animation, Naruto is borderline DBZ slow dragged out action scenes and plauged with annoying flashbacks in animation, while the manga is rather quick and a fun read.
 
yes dbz was only about 26volumes afaik, i forgot exactly how much, but it certainly was faster than the anime.
 
There is a sub out now from DarkAnime for 66/67, aka "We get to finally see Sasuke fight the crazy dude from the sand - Gaaru" The popular sub from Anbu Aone will probably be coming out sometime today.

I just started d/ling epis of Naruto off Kazaa, and I've read a bit of the early manga (Shonen Jump) but haven't actually seen any of the anime yet. I've got so much anime to watch over the next couple weeks I don't know where to start. I just got the following DVDs over Christmas:
Neon Genesis Evangelion Boxed Set
Rurouni Kenshin Boxed Set
Berserk Box of War Boxed Set
Record of Lodoss War Boxed Set
Serial Experiments Lain Boxed Set
DBZ Majin Buu Saga Boxed Set
DBZ Fusion Saga Boxed Set
DBZ Kid Buu Saga Boxed Set
Not to mention the 50+ GB of Anime I have on my HD and DVDs (Dragonball, DBZ, DBGT, Initial D, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Outlaw Star, Escaflowne, dot hack, and Inuyasha) and let's not forget all the manga I have that I haven't read yet (Dragonball, Chobits, Escaflowne, Excel Saga, dot hack, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and Rurouni Kenshin plus all the Newtypes and Shonen Jumps I have that I haven't read yet). Oh yeah, I got Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke as well as a few movies and games (PS2).

just wondering, how much do the companies usually charge for translated manga? i was at fry's a few days ago and saw that they were selling manga for 9.99 :Q i was like "wtf?" hope that isn't the actual retail price for manga here.

Yup, MSRP on almost all manga is 9.99. You have to order the import manga if you want cheaper. Either that or you could buy online since there are a number of online stores that sell manga for about $5 if you preorder. Sure that doesn't beat the japanese price of about 290 yen per volume, but it's okay.

Manga's a pittance (for me, anyway) at $7.99 or $9.99 each volume (depending on who publishes it, Viz usually charges $7.99 whereas Tokyo Pop charges $9.99). It's the DVDs at $25 a pop that get ya 😉

heh, guess manga is the opposite of anime.
manga gets more expensive when it's brought over here.
anime gets cheaper when it's brought over here. dvds in japan are like ~$50

toriyama's world subs were really good...i dl'ed theirs until they stopped at ep. 48...

...arg i'm still awaiting anbu's release....sigh....this super sucks...

so many things going on...sasuke vs gaara...gaara's "secret" form they keep hinting at....the sand village's plan...orochimaru....etc etc etc...

i bet this orochimaru saga will carry out 'till ep 100...sigh don't be dragonball all over again please... 🙁
