AAdvantage rewards... how many miles needed?

I believe 25000 mile points are needed to fly in the USA right? Or no? How about internationally?

I am trying to figure out if the card is worth it compared to 5% cash back cards? I think the air miles dont work out well if you do the math..

But can someone tell me the table needed to fly to a few diff destinations? Mainly Europe..
