I was teasing one of the surgeon moonlighters (dude is straight as an arrow, married etc, and not that there's anything wrong about being gay, & he'd just put a Urology fellow in a full Nelson minutes earlier in the breakroom & made him plead for mercy) last evening about being gay & he gave me a funny look & dropped a chart in the rack (not for me to work on, but I grabbed it anyway), I called the patient into one of the exam rooms to give a shot & holy freak show Batman, it was a guy with long hair, multiple piercings in his ears, a face that'd make a train jump the tracks to avoid glancing upon the horror show visage again, the first name on the chart was definitely female & the hands, aaarrrggghhhh the hands, rough, red man hands with cheap fake nails painted bright pink........

All I could think of was the Seinfeld episode where Jerry couldn't stand the woman with "man hands".

I finished up with the patient (could have given the shot in the backside, but I couldn't deal with it & gave it in the arm), went back in the ER, looked @ the surgeon & said "Do you remember that Seinfeld episode..." & he jumped right in with "Manhands!!!!"

We laughed our asses off😀 😀 😀

It was @ least a guy @ some point, had a big Adam's apple, can't get rid of them without some rather expensive surgery, really didn't want to find out what plumbing was orig equipment, the thing was ugly....

I had several women in San Francisco as patients that had histories of prostate problems. Quite a strange city to work in, LOL.

I also found out one of our seriously hot female residents, put herself through medical school by stripping, I think I may have gotten a lap dance from her several years ago...😱

That very thought kept me pondering a few minutes last night, but the whole "I'm married now" thing kept cropping up... & the resident had @ least a 3 carat diamond wedding ring on her finger....
