Sorry to those who follow the rules about shutting down the server. But when I ask for no base camping I mean no base camping. People can wait and ambush at the bridge or the woods on that map. Maps are not fun when you spawn and then die. I won't rant or bitch. The server will go back up but anyone not following rules will be banned. Now go ahead and reply whatever you want. Call me an ass or what ever you like but all I ask is these rules to be followed. All I ask is no base camping, TKing ( which went on all last night with some people from here ) and swearing. Anyone can play but I will ban people for not following the rules.
 
Blah, blah blah. You booted a map that calls for exactly that, base camping. Your tact, or lack thereof, was poor.

You were pwned and shut it down because of that.

I had just got into the map, so I was not pwned. I have lost before and I have won. No map calls for base camping unless all spawn points can be taken. My tact ????? I think you should look at your own. I offered the use of the server to people till you can get one. Even offered to password it for tryouts for people here. Think about it, then think about how some people acted. Shuttting down was easier then bannning people, because I don't like to ban people. Now I am sorry to say, I will. Take it how however you want, you are also welcome to back. Sorry you feel like that nosox.

The map in question, "DC Weapon Bunkers," has two bases in it, in which allied attacks the bunkers of the enemy.

The enemy sat around their base for a long time, colored their nails, read cosmo, watched some Oprah, and eventually grew bored and came and kicked your ass.

There's plenty of servers out there, none of which are as uptight as you.

 
Dont know about the others, I just got into and was driving to the bunkers. Was shot on the way there ( fine ), spawned 3 times and could not go anywhere because some one was sitting there with a 50 caliber, spawn killing. Then I asked "no tking" twice and people started calling me names.I even asked again and spawn killed twice more.

Okay, now that we have that covered, tyler811 if you are spawned at random points, how can there be "spawn killing?" Also, what does "no tking" mean? 😕

I'm not taking sides in the "debate" at all I just want to understand what happened 🙂

Some maps have where all spawn points can be taken. If a spawn point can be taken, then sit there and wait for someone to show up or spawn, to capture or hold the flag. If it is a base that cannot be taken( flag cannot be captured) and the team has only that place to spawn point, then don't sit there and shoot them as they spawn. This goes for if I am on that team or not. It is no fun to try and spawn just to get killed before you can take one step. Sit outside of the spawn point, when they set foot outside of the flag area then shoot them.People sittting there (in a base that cannnot be captured) with a machine gun right on top of you as you spawn and killing you is not any fun and will clear a server in a matter of minutes. Tking is team killing.
On this map there is only one spawn point for the americans.

Sometimes you do sometimes you dont. Kinda hard to fight back when you can even take one step.
 
Honestly guys, tyler811 has been kind enough to let us use his server and is trying to bring AT together to play.
What's the big deal about following his rules? They would seem to make a more civilized game.
