ok, so a couple days ago, I spilled about 1/2 cup of h2O into my keyboard laptop. I immediately turned it off.......

an hour later, I was able to turn it back on, but the touchpad/mouse thing was not working. 2 days later(today), the touchpad works, but now, the laptop is not detecting the hard drive, so cannot start.

So what can I do? Should I wait a few more days, or will do I need to take it to a person to fix it?

Is this kind of problem something that a regular person like me can do(I've never taken apart a laptop before, just desktops)?

do you tink the lappy hard drive is dead??

put it in the oven @ 350 for 9 minutes. Rotate it for another 3 and let it cool on a rack.

I would give it another day or two. Try to open it up as much as you can (without using a screwdirver) and let it sit out.

I suppose you could open it entirely and let it dry, but I don't think that is necessary..... yet.
