Aaaaargh... CJD jobs in FaD are POS!!!

Sooo,

everyone says how these jobs are big and good and all... I have 2 comps running 1qm3-q3 jobs for 2 days. Other is 99% ready WITH 0 HITS, other at 79% with 10 hits.

So, how do the points go in FaD and what should I look for in the stats... there are soo many stats

Not to worry... points are strictly calculated based on how long the job took (in hours) and what your CPU rating is. One that I have running now (nowhere near the longest, just the easiest to find) has run for 122564 seconds (34.046 hrs) and the CPU rating is 161, so, at 64%, it's got 112 hits and has ammased 34.046*161 = 5481 points so far Hits doesn't enter into the points calc

Exactly what Geoff said. Hits are good for the science of the project but have nothing to do with you points Finn!

My current CJD job is at 197540 seconds, 103 hits, 95.24% done, and a CPU rating of 196. It sometimes fluctuates as high as 215 or possibly even more, depending on the job.

Yea, no fear....the jobs are long but you get big credit when they're done.

One of my nodes is at 483000 seconds, 162 hits, 93.58% done and currently running at a CPU rating of 153
