I've looked at the Canon A70, the Sony P72, the Fiji S300, even the HP 935. I just can't decide. What camera should I go with and why.

I will be using it mainly for family photos, sports pics (kids football games) and some short home movies.

Help me ATOT Digital Camera Gods!!!!!!!

Btw, I wouldn't rely on a digicam for home movies. Quality isn't exactly top notch even for copying to a VCR tape.

I usually don't do full length movies. Just like the ability to record quickie movies.

edit: oh, and I have been to the site, but I still can't make up my mind. Damn you Indecision, damn you to hell!

Go A70 as I know RossMAN will come in here and chime on that :p :D

Everyone has one and they like it so go for that. Media is cheap also.

The Canon A70 is a great digicam if it meets your needs, it's not a perfect solution for all people.

I myself prefer a compact point and shoot digicam which takes stellar pics. So I would go for the Canon SD100 or S400.
