Wish I was in Pomona this weekend.....I miss the smell of race gas, and the burning eyes and lungs from nitro exhaust 🙂

Wow, 6.81 bump in Pro Stock! 😕

Yeah, in retrospect I should have gone to at least see some racing. Oh well, there's always later in the year. Gotta love the fact we get two events at Pomona.

Yeah, I went to the World Finals last year. Awesome.............

and the ground and the grandstands are shaking and the hot rod is just idling..

then they gas it and you think the earth is going to explode.

Dragstrip won't open for a few more months here. We are rebuilding the motor for the dragster right now and making a few changes😀

really i should go to houston one day for a race. i like drag racing. waaay better than nascar. these guys shift.

Drag racing isn't a real sport. It doesn't take any skill to drive a car in a straight line at 330mph. Real racing has turns. you should come watch me and my friends drive our civics between cones in a parking lot. That's REAL racing. Drag racing is for poser rednecks.

I disagree, competition is extremely tight and there is no room for error. So what if I'm a redneck!

Well, the comparison is, Drag racing is something EVERYONE can go enjoy on a friday night for $20, most other racing is just a bunch of talk.

A weekend of road course racing is $75 for average entry fee alone, racing tires usually only last 2 or 3 weekends so thats a bundle, plus it's EXTREMELY rough on the rest of the car.

LOL, man that's gonna be like slow-mo compared to what you are used to... time to go get a 7.3 Powerstroke Crew cab, stick a 90HP chip and a propane injection on her 😉 😎

Nah, I think it's racing. It's real racing too. I think the competition isn't as much in the driving though as the tuning. I love more the technical aspect it all so the raw power of a drag racer is amazing.

I put a big "Powered by Honda" sticker on the windshield, so now it's a Civic.
