I just had a Big Mac heart attack, my little guy Aaron was talking about school this afternoon, he said that the PC's in his classroom freeze up every day, so I asked him "What happens, a BSOD ?", he says, "No, they are MACs, they just lock up and you can't shut them down, the teacher has to unplug them".

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Time to send him to a different school, no child of mine is going to use a MAC 😛

That's unfortunate. My HS was the same way....

Actually, my Jr. High had Apple II's.

God, I never even saw a PC until my friend's, and later my parents, got them.

When I got to Jr. High, they still had Commodore 64s. Man, were they sweet! Carmen Sandiego, Oregon Trail... all the classic games. 😛

This is grade school, he is now in 2nd grade, he has been using PC's (if you can call them that) in school since Kindergarten.

AT least children in schools with macs dont have to worry about viruses taking down the network! 🙂 Tell him to load his mp3s to the machine. Macs are great jukeboxes! And footrests!

MACs are not worthy of being either, I was thinking more like a boat anchor, but after thinking about it, I would want to dirty my anchor chain.

They had a Commodore 64 when I was in 4th grade. I learned BASIC on it... playing with those colors was COOL. 🙂 I still remember the first time I came across CYAN from those days...

I thought you were talking about a McDonald's Big Mac heart attack at first

But get your kid out of there ASAP 😛

uh...no they aren't. If you're talking about them freezing, then, yeah, they problablyall do. But, if you're talking about all high school computers being Macs, then, no.
