ok...a coworker went on vacation, came back and the internet wouldn't work on her computer....so i go over there, try starting IE and FF, both crash. SO i run in safe mode, get the firefox install program, reinstall FF, still no luck. SO I run adaware, spybot, etc. and get an absolute ton of hits. Delete all them, then I start up Avast, from a bootscan....and I swear I have never seen this many viruses on a single computer in my entire life. the log came out to SEVEN pages of infected files single spaced, and most of them WEREN'T adware. So I get rid of all of them, clean up a few remaining spyware programs...and finally after about 2 hours I get the internet back on her computer. I reboot the system...............and now FF and IE can't connect to the internet...AGAIN.

1) are you IT?
2) if you are do something about it
3) if you're not, it's not your problem.

That would fall under 3.

I have to agree... Unless your company consists of like 5 people.
