AA..

I open up RadeonTweaker and set my AA to 4X multisampling with Anisotropic Filter to MAX and Bias to 8. I open up Quake 3, and its more annoying than Non-AA! None of the edges are smoothed or anything, they almost seem more jaggy. What the hell is wrong with it? Could it be the suckiness of my system?

Thanks guys, you've all been lifesavers multiple times..

dude.. the first thing you did was to mess with the settings.. heh 😉 j/k!
I love Q3, but I don't think that the game is beautiful enough (i.e. trees, mountains, blue sky) to run it with AA. I don't have the ATI Radeon LE but I would try it from the lowest adjusted setting (try a game)and then gradually turn it up slowly to find out whats the best for you. sorry if this doesn't really help you.. but experience is the best teacher. G/L!
