AA prob. on GTX260 with Crysis DX10

I was testing my friends GTX 260 xxx and in Crysis i can not enable AA from Crysis graphics tab but if i force it from the driver the game runs at 10-15 FPS max??

Whats wrong with this picture....

What's wrong is that you're trying to AA in Crysis.

Just raise other settings instead, Crysis is too much of a beast for AA just yet.

Yeah, High settings include Edge AA anyways which make the game look a lot smoother (or at least smooth enough not to need AA).

Crysis disables AA as an option unless you enable "High" shaders ... try setting shaders to "High" and then using the in game option.

AA isn't the best IQ option though -- you're better off increasing other settings as your system can handle it than enabling AA.

I know AA is not a smart thing to do with crysis but for testing the card it was a must. I was thinking that a xfx GTX 260 XXX would just pull it off given that its OCed from factory and almost matches the GTX 280 results...!!!

Sadly i was wrong it seems.
