How would one force an application to run a specific amount of AA/AF? I've seen them do it at bit-tech.net, but I have no idea how to do it.

I've got a 7800GT.

nvidia control panel

And where would I find that? :p

if you right click on the desktop > properties > settings > advanced button > **This brings up a new dialogue box**

If you then find the nVidia tab within that new dialogue box and click on it. That is the nVidia control panel.

Once in the Control panel select ?performance and Quality settings? from the left hand pain.

If you click on the "Active Profile" drop down box and cannot find the game .exe or name already in the list, then click on the "Add profile" button, click on the ?browse? button and search for the .exe game file you want the custom settings for, for example ?BF2.exe?. Once you have selected this, make sure it is the only one ticked in the list, then give it a name in the above text box, then click on ok once you have finished.

If you then click on the drop down from the Active profile option, and select the name of the profile in which you just made.

if you then look below you have the ability to set the driver override settings for that specific game.
