AA, AF on X800XT

If I max out AA and AF on the ATI X800XT's Catalyst settings, do I need to enable them when I play HL2 and CS: Source as well, or will they already be turned on? Does this apply to all games?

Also, is it possible to have the TV (connected by S-Video) set to 800x600 and the primary LCD display at 1600x1200 simultaneously, or will I have to change resolution back to 1600x1200 on my primary monitory every time after I clone the display to the TV?

Thanks in advance :)

Ugh, leave them at "determined by application" or whatever. Some games run AA/AF higher than others. When you run a game at that setting it will just use the AA/AF levels you set for that game.

I can't answer your second question though I'm not a watch-TV-on-the-comp kinda guy.

From my experiences of using multiple monitors on video cards, the resolutions revert to their previuos settings when you go back to using a single display.

Not sure if the same goes for the TV tho, but hope that contributes something...=D
