a8v with silenX fans

I have 2 SilenX fans. My motherboard supports Q-Fan where it lowers the speed of the fans depending on temperature etc. My SilenX fans dont have a monitoring feature, as they only have the 2 connecting wires. Will my motherboards Qfan still lower the speed of those fans even though it doesnt have a monitoring function in the fan?

Also, If I have two fans connected to the one header using an adapter, does that mean that both fans will spin at the same speed or will go half the speed as they are both sharing a header?

same speed, just twice the current draw on the header.
