A8V-E Deluxe

yeah, i just got my athlon 64 3500(winchester) up and running on a A8V-E Deluxe, and i cant get the 5.1 to work with the spdif out(coaxial), i dunno how to get it to work with my kenwood reciver. the sticker on it says it has dolby digital EX, DTS-ES, and Dolby ProLogic llx. if you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
 
on the mobo cd there should be a program for hooking up sound. From what i understand. I have the A8V deulxe socket 939. It is usually in the bottom right corner of your desktop called sound effect.

I could never get mine to work with games and the SPDIF. Only movies worked with the SPDIF in DD and DTS. For games I just used rca cables (single) from each color output from the a8v into my 5.1 inputs into my onkyo receiver. Anything in DD or DTS is decoded and put out properly. Dnld the latest realtek 850 driver from asus. You will see the program icon in your tray. Run it and test all your speakers. G-luck!
