A8V Deluxe Ver 2?

Just tweaking my Asus A8v Deluxe board from Monarch and checking everything out. In CPU-Z it says the mainboard is Rev. 1.0. Does this mean I have the old board and not Ver. 2? On Monarch's site it is advertised as Ver.2. Also I have posted in other threads that the system will not recognize the x2 4200 as a dual core.

Rev. 1.0 means you have version 1 without the PCI/AGP locks. As for your dual core situation, have you installed BIOS 1014 yet? BIOSes older than 1013 won't read dual-core chips, and 1014 was just released.

look between the 1st and 2nd pci slots, it will say the revision. it says that in cpu-z because asus didnt change the info in the chip cpu-z is reading off of. dont worry.

I tried 1014 and same thing. Flashed back to 1013. Only place (2) processors are showing is in Device manager. There are (2) listings for the Amd 64 X2 4200..........
How can I check to see if everything is O'k.
