A8V deluxe no longer recognizes my combo cd-dvd drive

I have/had my artec combo drive set to cs enabled. I brought my computer over to my cousins house and when I put a dvd in the drive it didnt load. In bios it no longer recognizes it. a few minutes before putting the dvd in, I was playing splinter cell in that drive.
