A8V Deluxe Dimm1 no boot....... Slot3 good?

no boot up dead system dimm1.........dimm2 same....dead
dimm3....everything works fine!
im using 1 stick 512....3700eb platinum ocz
any ideas ...........thanks

You have a dual channel motherboard. You need 2 identical sticks of ram for it to work. Put them in slots 1 and 3 (the blue ones).
