A8V Deluxe Case Speaker

bad soldering caused me to have a little mishap with my case speaker, in which both wires detached from the speaker rather easily while sleeving. I stripped it and wrapped it back around, but after a while i questioned its use. The a8v deluxe uses speech output through the actual computer speakers and not the case speaker beep codes. I'm wondering if i need to actually hook up the case speaker header to my a8v at all.

I don't think I've ever heard any beeps from my system speaker with my A8V.

Even if it did use it, I doubt you'd miss it much.

thats good to hear actually. unscrewing the speaker would reduce case clutter by a good margin as well as give me a spot for cathodes
