A8V and SATA drives

ok, so I have an Asus A8V motherboard and amd 4000+ and a WD 120gb SATA drive. When I try to install windows I keep getting error messages. Ive been reading the manual and I still dont have any answers so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

need to install sata drivers before you can install windows (happens an all boards, it's a windows prob not a mobo prob) Look here:

if that doesn't help, just look in the "operating system" forum section. This question has been asked about a million times there.
