I play Point of Existence (a Battlefield Vetnm. mod). I get a freeze now and again (few seconds and then everything goes back to normal). The freeze usually happens in the heat of battle (a lot of activity). It is not a connection warning lad, or a lag you get with an underpowered sys. The games plays very smooth on high V/A. My sys is: A8Nsli/3200+Wini/1gdcpc3200/Leadtek6800thd256/Seagate80gsata/thermaltake480. If your sys has dones this, how did you fix it?
