A8n5x no go!!

I've built many computers in the past but this is the first time I've had a problem.

I just put together a Asus A8n5x board, 3800+, Corsair value select memory (2x512), Asus EN6600 video.

I put it all together (including the extra 4 pin plug), plugged it in and nothing!! The onboard fan makes about 1/8 turn and that's it. The green light is on so I know it's getting power. I then took everything out and unplugged everything except the processor and memory. I still have nothing. I tried moving the memory into different slots, I've taken the board back out and reinstalled, taken cpu out and reinstalled.....still nothing.

For a power supply I have a Xion case and their 450w power supply.

Now how can I tell if it's the board, cpu or memory? Is there something I could have missed or does anyone have any opinions?

Thanks,
Kelvin.

You can take the CPU heatsink off, place your finger on the CPU and see if you are feeling any heat. If not it is possible the motherboard is fried. My last mobo crashed randomly and wasn't transmitting any power to the CPU so it stayed cold.
