A8N32-SLI New Setup

I am running very close to the same system as Anandtech tested for this motherboard however I cant really get any better then 306x9 - and for some reason in CPUZ my memory is running at 192mhz/cpu 14 and I cant figure out how to up it. Anyone know where to up it at? I also would love the EXACT BIOS settings used by Anandtech to see if I can get the board to run faster.

AMD 4000+ San Diego (Chip # ADA4000DAA5BN/CABGE0515VPMW/1237586D50462)
ATI x850XT w/5.12 Cat
500 Watt PS
1GB OCZ PC4800 Plat Memory TCCD
A8N32-SLI Mobo

Not all CPUs, and Mobos are created equal - even if they do share the same name/model number.

Yeah I understand that but at least you would have a starting place to know if its possible or not and work down from there.

I wouldn't be surprised if Anandtech get a cherry-picked processors, motherboards, and memory for their tests...

306x9=2754. Thats a pretty good OC so I wouldnt complain too much really. Especially since its a AMD 4000+ proc. The X2s and Optys tend to OC better than the 4000+ from what I have seen posted and heard. I think if you want a better OC you'll need to switch to a different proc.

Lol - I know I may seem like a ungrateful wanker but when you see what they were able to do it gives you the "bug" that you can do more and your not doing something right.

Now my only issue with this board is trying to up my FSB Memory since its only operating at 192mhz. I should be able to do 300-325 with this TCCD. Just cant figure out how much more. Right now I see 192Mhz CPU/14 2.0-3-3-6-8-16 - MUST DO BETTER! MUST DO MORE! MUST PUSH THE LIMITS! 🙂

Yeah i know. I felt the same when i could only get my 4400X2 to 2.6Ghz stable. Also i'm having a nightmare with this board and RAM timings, i had to losen the latencies quiet a lot to get it going at anything like the speed it should handle.

Then i stopped and thought about it a bit. 😀
