A8N32-SLI in a rackmount chassis

Hi everybody,

I'm interested in the A8N32-SLI and read somewhere that the board should not be rotated 180°, as this is not good for the heatpipe.

So now I wonder if the heatpipe will work correctly, if the board is mounted in a 4u rackmount chassis and therefore is laying "flat" ?

Thanks in advance

i think it would be fine as long as the case has good airflow. the heatpipe has capillaries inside that helps circulation, and there is a slight elevation, but just make sure there is good airflow across the fins.
